Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description - other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.
To ensure that all assembly processes to produce roller chain are maintained and run to the high levels of efficiency and quality stipulated by U.S. Tsubaki standards. Primarily responsible for the operation of stringing processes, power presses, pre-stressing equipment, packaging equipment, greasing equipment and associated inspection equipment.
Retrieve and replace components from parts storage or prior processes to ensure continuous operation of equipment.
Assists, trains and develops new operators.
Previous experience is desirable assembling metal components, utilizing power presses, jigs and fixtures along with a variety of associated inspection equipment.
Requirements:
Must have successfully completed an approved training program as to setting up and operating all equipment in section.
Must be able to measure and inspect assembled products. Basic mathematics essential.
Must be capable of handling somewhat heavy fixtures and parts.
Must have the ability to identify various parts from engineering drawings used to produce chain products.
Must be self-motivated.
Able to understand and follow procedures specified by the company for Quality and Operation of the assembly process. Must be able to follow directions of group leader and set-up person.
Must be an active team member, capable of communicating and working effectively and harmoniously with their peers.
Must be flexible and able to change and adapt working practices as required to suit the changing needs of the business.
Must be capable of running all equipment in section.
Follow direction / instruction of group leader or supervisor.

Perform routine minor machine maintenance as part of their daily work duties (e.G., replacing machine filters, changing standard lightbulbs on machines and equipment, maintaining lubrication/coolant levels, etc. As related to basic Total Preventative Maintenance duties).
Routinely move product within the immediate manufacturing work area, including across isle, using shop assigned equipment as required, and complete transactions necessary to move product to the next operation.
On an exception basis, moves product to the next operation within a building.
Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training and assisting employees of the same or lower classification level.6. Trains to become MVP qualified.
In addition, each employee may be asked, on occasion, to complete other duties and responsibilities as required by Spirit leadership.
Training and certification will be provided for the additional work when required
Requirements:
Candidate must have CNC machine operation experience, preferably more than 2 years

Hours for 2nd shift are 4 pm to 2 am, Monday through Thursday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Run rotary machine to quality and performance standards, while following Standards of Work in which they are trained in.
• Understand quality standards to audit for quality defects in parts
• Perform tool cleaning using multiple interments, such as a wooden poker and plastic scrapper. This includes cleaning vents.
• Inserting of plastic inserts into molds
• Demolding parts from rotary table
• Use a vacuum to clean all particles from molds
• Inspect parts according to quality standards
• Notify maintenance of issues
• Comply with all federal and state safety standards
• Comply with all housekeeping standards.
• Must have and maintain a high sense of urgency to meet and exceed all production goals.
SUPERVISORY ROLE
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
