Minimum Qualifications:
One of the following:
Bachelor's degree
4+ years of outside sales, surgical tech or related clinical experience required
Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty

The Medical Sales Representative will report to the Sales Manager. This position will be responsible for making sales calls to a broad spectrum of prospects in the medical industry, including physicians'' offices, hospitals, and nursing homes
Conduct sales calls to obtain new referral sources, occasionally in patient homes.
Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
Presents educational materials to referral sources.

Responsible for the overall clinical, technical, and administrative functions at the location on record regarding the Home Respiratory Therapist Program.
Responsible for installation/delivery of respiratory therapist equipment and provision of all needed supplies and products to the patient in the home and ongoing assessment of patients and equipment.
Responsible for clinical contact with the physician, referred contacts, health care practitioners, and others involved in the care of the patients referred to VieMed for home respiratory therapist services.
Responsible for the maintenance of records, charting, progress notes, clinical files, equipment records, preventative maintenance records, and other necessary documentation.
Responsible for maintaining and accurate inventory of all VieMed assets and supplies.
Responsible for for ensuring all pertinent demographic information is updated regularly and with any change in personal or professional status.
Responsible for overseeing of all applicable regulatory rules and guidelines as pertains to the staff respiratory therapist.
Exhibits effective written and verbal communication skills. Adheres to cost-containment policies and procedures.

You Will:
Be responsible for identifying, prospecting and marketing contract imaging services to local IPA's, HMO's, medical groups, and referring physicians through cold calling, appointments, leads, and regular visits to referring offices and potential referral sources in a concentrated effort to grow our territory and increase numbers.
Identify and resolve service issues and concerns from referral sources.
Be responsible for branding the market.
Promote new service, hours, radiologist, equipment, site specific programs.
Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree/diploma in Marketing or a related field or two to three years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Good marketing/sales competencies including good communication and interpersonal skills, results orientation, customer orientation, strategic thinking and personal credibility.
Intermediate knowledge in Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet.
