AMS.NET is currently seeking four (4) experienced Lead Installers to join our Cabling Department in the Anaheim office. The Lead Installer is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining voice, security and/or data cabling required for installation of AMS.NET projects. Prior Lead installer experience of 5 plus crews is a plus.
The Lead Installer will report to the Cabling Operations Manager. Compensation will be commensurate with the State Prevailing Wage and State Salary Guidelines. AMS.NET covers all travel expenses.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Serves as a coach to installers and apprentices to share knowledge and skills as appropriate
Establishes and maintains professional relationships with both internal and external customers to ensure their needs are met
Prepares weekly safety report, daily project update reports and personnel documents as necessary (timecards, expense reports, vacation requests, etc.)
Follows all AMS.NET safety policies and procedures as written
Manages cabling projects so they will be completed on time and on budget
Coordinates with Cabling Operations Manager and Project Managers to ensure both know the status of the project and are aware of any unique
circumstances or issues with the installation
Communicates with Project Managers to ensure they are informed on status of projects
Skills/Qualifications:
Ability to complete reports correctly
Excellent problem-solving skills
Professional customer service skills including use of the telephone in a courteous manner
Knowledge of low voltage wiring
Ability to understand technical information
Understanding of network standards and maintenance
Ability to troubleshoot technical networks

Role and Responsibilities
Director, M&A and Strategic Investments, CBD Legal. This position would be in our Corporate Business Development (CBD) Legal group, and would report to the Managing Director, CBD Legal.
Deal Counsel. The attorney's primary role would be as deal counsel supporting all aspects of the Corporate Business Development group's activities, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and other strategic investments. Specifically, the attorney would be involved in:
Review M&A pipeline review decks and drive regulatory assessment review by antitrust, CFIUS and FDI counsel of potential transactions, including coordinating input from the applicable business unit leaders and technologists
Prepare and negotiate non-disclosure agreements
Work with internal tax and finance groups and external counsel on transaction structuring
Prepare and advise the deal team regarding the negotiation of term sheets
Conduct and coordinate due diligence investigations, including coordinating with Legal & Compliance Organization (LCO) groups and with IP counsel
Prepare legal and IP due diligence report-outs for the business and deal team
Work with outside counsel on preparation of definitive transaction documentation, working with the CBD deal lead to drive agreement negotiations

Develop and communicate responses to critical legal issues as they arise

Assist in the preparation of playbooks and process improvements for the CBD group and participate in company-wide training programs
Required Experience and Skills
JD from a nationally-recognized law school

The Role
Proofpoint is looking for a self-starting, responsible, mature, highly-motivated Sales Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented Sales Engineers.
The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in email security and prior experience managing technical sales teams. An ability to “lead from the front” and a willingness to act as both player and coach to help your team secure the technical win will be key to your success.

Your day-to-day
Oversee the day-to-day operations of your team of Sales Engineers
Resource management - assign projects, accounts, and meetings to sales engineers as required, and resolve scheduling conflicts

The Computer Science Research Institute (CSRI) seeks several students (job title: summer R&D undergraduate intern) to participate in collaborative research across a wide range of areas in computer science, applied mathematics, discrete mathematics, mathematical modeling, computational science and engineering, and high-performance computing. Possible research areas are broad and include quantum computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced computer architectures, systems software, parallel algorithms, programming languages and paradigms, data sciences, materials, combinatorial mathematics, discrete event simulation, scalable solvers, continuous and discrete optimization, uncertainty quantification, statistics, multiscale methods and mathematics, multiphysics modeling, visualization, meshing, advanced modeling and simulation, human decision modeling, and brain inspired computing. Students are also sought with interests in applying computational methods to scientific and engineering applications including shock physics, molecular dynamics, magnetohydrodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, electrical systems, and climate security. On any given day, the intern maybe involved in activities related to the above research areas. Depending on the intern interests, the work may be more focused on research or software development. Potential activities include:
Assisting with research and development activities (reviewing existing techniques, seeking new approaches, developing computing solutions)
Helping to develop algorithms and software for the research area
Helping to run simulation codes
Collaboration with Sandia staff involved in the research area
Assisting with publication of analysis
Presenting results to the research group

Salary Range

Security Clearance
This position does not currently require a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance.
Sandia will conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications. Furthermore, employees in New Mexico need to pass a U.S. Air Force background screen for access to Kirtland Air Force Base.
