JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE The Mold Splitter is responsible for separating molds in the foundry process to ensure the production of high-quality railroad wheels. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing operations, supporting the overall goals of Amsted Rail, Griffin Wheel. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Separate molds using specialized tools and equipment. Inspect molds for defects and report any issues to the supervisor. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in the setup and teardown of mold equipment. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets. Perform routine maintenance on mold splitting tools and equipment. Document production activities and mold conditions accurately. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity. JOB KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Required Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. This position is responsible for facilitating the sales of CCM products in an autonomous environment by providing general product, project, and territory development support, as well as technical training to customers, in order to ensure the achievement of sales objectives. The role is expected to be performed Monday through Friday, typically between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., although occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
