What You Will Do as a Maintenance Supervisor · Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, electricians, and mechanical tradespeople supporting daily production. · Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime. · Partner with Production, Engineering, and Reliability teams to improve equipment uptime and efficiency. · Ensure compliance with all OSHA, LOTO, and Silgan safety policies through regular audits and employee training. · Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support reliability projects. · Track work orders, spare parts usage, and compliance using maintenance software. · Provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to team members. · Collaborate with vendors and contractors during major repairs, overhauls, and installations. What You Bring · Associate degree in a technical trade field, High School diploma, or GED. · At least 1 year of experience directly supervising a team. · Strong background in industrial maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics and pneumatics. · Basic understanding of PLC familiarity. · Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies. · Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. · Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. · Ability to prioritize multiple projects and perform under pressure in an industrial environment · Proficiency in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
