A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT), an employee-owned consultant engineering firm, is seeking a Senior GIS Analyst / Survey Technician to join our Team in the Herndon, VA office. This candidate will work on both GIS and Survey assignments. The position will entail working in a dual role to perform both GIS and survey assignments. The GIS assignments will include geo-referencing property plat images, ability to convert data and understand/transform coordinate systems, GIS data input, and Quality Control Review. The survey assignments will include survey computations, preparation of topographic and boundary surveys, as-built surveys, preparation of record drawings and easement plats. The candidate will also have the opportunity to perform field survey data collection, if so desired. Candidate will be required to be proficient in ArcGIS Pro and AutoCAD software platforms.
