Job Summary
This position supports compliance with Capital Delivery project management policies, procedures, and best practice. The Lead Project\Construction Quality Assurance Analyst identifies process improvement actions. This role is responsible for analyzing work processes and systems, improve project outcomes, attain effective reporting on projects and portfolios, promote financial stewardship, and increase project delivery output.
Essential Functions
* Prepare audit/compliance plans with sampling and test design for process measurement.
* Conduct audits, surveys, and performance reviews to ensure compliance with policies and best practices.
* Identify and recommend improvement opportunities across various management levels.
* Support development of corrective action scopes and monitor implementation.
* Conduct process mapping, quality checks, and audits to ensure data integrity and support data initiatives.
* Apply disciplined quality management common in manufacturing to construction projects.
* Identify gaps and inefficiencies and presents recommended improvement opportunities at various levels of management
* Supports development of scope for corrective action or improvement projects
* Track and monitor (or implement) corrective / preventive actions
* Conduct process and value mapping activities
* Supports data integrity by planning and performing quality checks and audits on project /portfolio data
* Develops and maintains instructions, policies, procedures, and standards related to project management or project controls.
* Develops and delivers training pursuant to department and/or program goals, to include policy, procedure, business process, or tool changes.
* Perform any other tasks to support quality assurance and process improvement of the Capital Delivery practices, systems, tools, and data (e.g., training, research, ad-hoc compliance checks, data quality checks, root cause analysis, sensitivity analysis, pareto studies, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications
* Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience in a quality control and\or assurance function and a Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, or 10 years' experience without a degree.
* Valid Driver's License or ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related functions.
* Must have work authorization in the United States.
* Lean Six Sigma or process improvement training, certification, and/ or experience
* Experienced in use of statistical analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, EngineRoom)
* Familiarity with project management methods, techniques, standards, and best practices
* Experience drafting technical documents such as standard practices, technical specifications, procedures, or policies
* Ability to clearly organize and present reports, and other related technical information to upper management

The salary/hourly range is $94,300.00 - $122,256.00. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. Depending on an employee's assigned worksite or location, Amtrak may consider a geo-pay differential to be applied to the employee's base salary. The Director of Customer Care Center Operations plays a critical leadership role in managing the day-to-day performance and long-term transformation of our multi-channel Customer Care Center. This position is central to delivering a hospitality-driven service experience that exceeds customer expectations, while building the operational foundation for scalable, future-ready support.

* Leverage reporting and analytics to track performance, identify trends, and support executive decision-making.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Education: A BS in business administration, management, or a related field required.
* 11 years of relevant experience required.
* Experience: 10+ years in an omnichannel contact center or related environment.
* Skills: Strong command of Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.)
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
* Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams.

Job Summary
Summer 2026 program will run from May 18th - August 7, 2026.
This position is a key member of the Electric Traction Department and will focus on the design and maintenance of substation assets. The position provides engineering support for substation-related aspects of capital projects of all sizes during design and construction phases. Job Summary
The Lead Instructional Designer is a member of the Training & Development group. SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
This position is seeks a corporate transactional generalist, with emphasis on drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, and/or government contracts. This attorney would provide legal support on environmental matters, host railroad access agreements, railroad operating agreements, state and federal funding agreements, new service development, and support RFPs for passenger rail services. After an agreement is is executed, the lawyer will provide legal services in the ongoing administration of that agreement including dispute resolution, advice and counseling, bid protests, contract administration, and claims resolution, which can stretch over several years.

Job Summary
Provide management and support to the Engineering Services group under Capital Delivery. Accountable for all design management and support as it relates to scheduling, estimating, coordinating, document control and planning the executions of design reviews for the Engineering Discipline Leads.
Essential Functions
* Capable of prioritizing work, juggling multiple projects, working independently and delivering designs on time.

Job Summary
The AVP Host Railroads is responsible for commercial relations with Amtrak's host railroads and for developing strategy for securing access to and improving performance by host railroads. Job Summary
The Northeast Corridor Commission is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join its hard-working and enthusiastic staff. The Commission was established by Congress in the Passenger Rail Investment and Improvement Act of 2008 to coordinate among agencies that share the region's core rail network. With historic funding from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), corridor stakeholders are now advancing the most ambitious NEC capital investment program in decades, supported by the Commission's collaborative planning & reporting, cost-sharing, and interagency coordination processes. While the Commission is administratively hosted by Amtrak, it is an independent team of transportation professionals.
The Lead DevOps Engineer is a key resource for technology support for the Commission's staff of about 20 professionals. The position oversees complex software development projects and provides subject matter expertise and technical direction on IT infrastructure and administration. Primary responsibilities include custom software development and maintenance, database administration, and working with Commission leadership and functional teams to assess technology needs and deploy new tools and resources that enhance productivity. The role also includes oversight of consultants providing software development, helpdesk support, and other technical services.

Job Summary
Under the guidance of Cost Estimating management, the Lead Cost Estimator prepares cost estimates for mid-sized to large capital construction projects with moderate to high complexity. This role involves close collaboration with the Project Manager and other team members to develop and update project cost estimates. The Lead Cost Estimator adheres to established departmental procedures, guidelines, and best practices throughout the estimate development process and when documenting the basis of estimate, while also supporting management in the development and continuous improvement of existing procedures and practices. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Essential Functions
* Collaborates with the Project Manager and team to create cost estimates at various scope maturity levels using InEight Estimate application and Excel.
* Collects project scope details, drawings, schedules, and execution strategies. Prepares and maintains the Basis of Estimate document to support development of cost estimates
* Perform QC checks on estimates prepared by fellow Estimators on the team and review and assessment of cost estimates completed by others. Provides feedback in prioritized and comprehensive format and develops formal Cost Estimate Review Reports when required.
* Develop cost estimate by identifying work packages, quantifying scope elements, estimating direct cost line items and construction indirect costs, and estimating project "soft" costs such as project management, construction management, etc.
* Support development of project budget contingency to account for estimate uncertainties and potential project risks events. Participates in risk evaluation sessions or pre-construction reviews, and ensures risks are documented and assessed in terms of probability and impact to enable project team development of risk mitigation plans and contingencies
* Assists with preparing and assessing change order impact estimates, mentors' junior estimators, contribute to initiatives in business process improvements.
* Conduct site visits of future and ongoing construction project sites to support cost estimate development and gain knowledge of craft/discipline scope of work.
Minimum Qualifications

The Manager Accounting - Billing will have the responsibility for leading, managing, and maintaining a system of internal controls related to the reimbursable and direct order billing function, and the systems supporting this area for the Corporation. * Evaluate effectiveness of internal processes and controls and recommends enhancements to data retrieval, documentation, and process flow.

The salary/hourly range is $113,200.00 - $146,664.00. Job Summary
The Senior Director IMCS Business Transformation is responsible for leading business process and technology improvements for the Infrastructure Maintenance and Construction Services (IMCS) Department. This includes advancing systems and procedures to enhance workforce effectiveness and asset reliability; driving continuous improvement in State of Good Repair (SOGR) capital planning and IMCS work practices; and developing predictive analytics using engineering data from multiple sources. The role ensures alignment with industry best practices, oversees technology suitability, and directs implementation of the IMCS Infrastructure Asset Management Strategy. Additional responsibilities include fostering cross-department collaboration, leading development of the biennial Infrastructure Asset Line Plan and Northeast Corridor Asset Management Plan per federal requirements, managing the IMCS Management Trainee program, and establishing a comprehensive training and organizational change management practice in partnership with HR and Technical Training to meet certification requirements and develop leadership capabilities.
Essential Functions
Oversee and provide direction to IMCS Business Transformation teams, including:
Asset Management Strategy - Develop asset line and management plans per 49 USC 24320 and 24904 and identify improvement actions;
Industrial Engineering - Implement process improvement programs to boost productivity, reduce costs, and enhance asset utilization;
Engineering Asset Management Systems - Deliver and maintain technology solutions for inspection, maintenance, timekeeping, and capital construction, including training and support;
Geographic Information Systems - Manage infrastructure asset database, provide network visualization, and deliver mobile applications for work reporting and decision support;
Data Analytics - Define and implement tools and processes to integrate infrastructure data streams for informed capital renewal and maintenance decisions;
Strategic Initiatives - Analyze new processes, tools, and technology, and standardize IMCS training and communications for 4,000 employees.
Direct multi-functional services across IMCS and Engineering by researching issues, reviewing practices, and coordinating with internal and external groups to identify opportunities for quality improvement, efficiency, and cost savings. Develop programs to improve On-Time Performance through predictive analytics and asset reliability reporting. Lead creation of condition assessment guidelines for infrastructure assets to achieve State of Good Repair (SOGR). Evaluate operational data from work management applications and guide EAM system development for maximum benefit.
Provide oversight to IMCS management by communicating vision, setting standards for EAM tools, monitoring quality, supporting employee development, and administering a $10-$15M annual capital budget. Drive department-wide initiatives to improve collaboration, data quality, reporting, and decision-making. Manage interfaces with Amtrak Digital Technology and vendors to align resources with IMCS priorities. Integrate EAM data streams into daily operations and act as principal liaison for corporate management initiatives. Ensure technical application data-job assignments, qualifications, and performance evaluations-are integrated with EAM systems.
Minimum Qualifications
* B.S. degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Organizational Management or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
* 13 years of relevant work experiejce
* Proficient in asset management
* Working knowledge of railroad operations, policies, and procedures
* Experience in preparing and making effective presentations
* Experience effectively managing project reporting and administrative tools and controls for multiple ongoing projects and/or programs
* Exeprience in using process improvements and predictive analytics to drive operational efficiencies and improve business results
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in using and implementing Continuous Quality Improvement techniques.
* Master's Degree in applicable field or Professional Engineer (PE) license
* Lean Six Sigma Certification.
* 15 years of relevant work experience.
