The primary function of Supervisor - Bureau Policy Reporting (POC) is to manage all facets of the policy reporting process, with respect to requirements compliance, data quality, and timeliness in reporting. This includes the efficient collaboration with and support of both internal and external partners in order to deliver the required data in compliance with bureau requirements. It also involves the oversight and providing support, guidance, training, and coaching to the POC team. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.
Responsibilities
Supervises the daily operations of the policy reporting/POC team
* Monitors and evaluates the weekly unit and individual analyst progress to ensure meeting the individual and team monthly goals.
* Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the POC and Bureau criticism processes
* Ability to resolves criticisms involving policy reporting, experience modifications, classifications, and other similar subjects from external agencies, Departments of Insurance and miscellaneous bureaus.
* Handles the correction of policy data that has been rejected by the rating organization or Bureau
* Manages the review and payment of fines related to POC
* Build relationships with the licensed rating organizations, bureaus, and Department of Insurance offices to more effectively perform their assigned functions.
* Keeps current with policy reporting rules and requirements.
* Supervisor is required and expected to perform these duties/actions in addition to the daily administrative and organizational functions inherently associated with the position
* Monitor all circulars and bulletins issued by the independent bureaus and NCCI that may require an update to the processes/manuals/documentation as it impacts policy/POC reporting
* Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Required:
* Bachelors Degree and/or 7+ years related technical, carrier or rating bureau experience.
* Working knowledge of Workers Compensation Insurance, particularly policy rating elements such as classifications, modifications, and rates
* Experience in managing a team of 6-10 staff members, including remote workers
* Extensive knowledge of the WCIO Data Reporting Manual and its use and application for NCCI and all state rating bureaus
* Familiarity with all NCCI and State Bureau policy reporting manuals and guidelines
* Strong organizational skills
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of NCCI and/or Bureau data reporting systems and CDX
* Some travel will be required

As a Healthcare Representative, you will interview and advocate for patients and their families to obtain maximum benefit coverage in a hospital or healthcare setting.
This position is full-time Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work on holidays, weekends, and occasional overtime.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Review medical records and take all necessary actions to expedite benefit approval
