Our Management Liability underwriting division is seeking a Regional Executive Underwriter to join our growing team in the NYC Metropolitan Area. With this opportunity, you will underwrite and manage a portfolio of Management Liability Insurance in accordance with division guidelines, strategy and profitability standards. The person in this position is responsible for new business development, renewals, risk analysis and assessment, coverage evaluation, pricing and contract negotiation in order to maintain and develop a profitable portfolio. Product lines include Directors & Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary, and Crime.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain a solid flow of new business opportunities, identifying opportunities for growth within new and existing production sources. Position has direct responsibility for broker development and management within a book of business.
Underwrite renewals and identify cross-sell opportunities. Implementing 120 day strategy to ensure compliance and profitability of risks.
Develop risk pricing by analyzing exposures, claims experience, utilizing pricing tools and worksheets, comparison to similar risks, as well as experience in underwriting exposures pertaining to individual risks, for new and renewal accounts within assigned portfolio and authority level.
Consistently achieve budgeted financial results (premium, loss ratio, retention, commissions, pricing, new business, premium collection, and expense management) as established for individual portfolios.
Identify and take corrective action and/or collaborate with the appropriate area within the organization based on individual risk characteristics identified through broker reviews, large loss analysis, risk control, etc.
Insure compliance with underwriting strategies and regulatory requirements.
Remain current on legal and regulatory changes and claim development in order to contribute to unit product development and portfolio decisions.
Provide responsive service to brokers by delivering timely and accurate quotes and endorsements.
Assist in the development and implementation of underwriting strategy for all product lines.
Qualifications
Approximately 10+ years underwriting and rating experience with a focus in management and professional liability insurance products
Strong knowledge of the D&O external market and demonstrated marketing and business development experience within the retail and wholesale distribution channel.
Able to understand and execute to strategic priorities including; pricing strategy, agent strategy, rate strategy, underwriting appetite, limit management and mix of business.
Advanced analytical skills to interpret business information drawn from multiple sources to take critical account decisions regarding quality of risk.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in other functional areas and across the Group, share knowledge by participating in line of business monitoring and product development activities.
Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time within the assigned territory
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite with specific emphasis on Excel

Overview
Responsible for the supervision of bond production, underwriting activities and management functions. Oversees the acceptance, declination and rating of risks. Evaluates new business and renewal submissions from underwriting staff to determine appropriateness. Underwrites accounts that exceed field authority. Prepares and submits concise, fully-developed underwriting recommendations, as required, for submission to management.
Supervises, coordinates, and monitors activities of staff to ensure accurate, quality work, while maintaining high production standards.
Monitors and ensures the achievement of the region's profitability and production goals and keeps abreast of current market conditions that affect business levels.
Uses bond system automation and enhancements to improve efficiencies within assigned region.
Supervises the training and cross-training process of subordinate staff. Ensures that agency force is adequately trained and supported on the use of company systems.
Educates and assists AMS staff with bond production to produce cross-sell opportunities and new leverage points with agency plant. Communicates with regionalmanagement and other underwriting business units about marketing activities, successes and issues.

Qualifications
Knowledge and Requirements
Broad knowledge of surety & fidelity underwriting environment. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers/peers. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must have valid state-issued driver's license in good standing and be able to drive an automobile.
Education and Experience
College degree in financial-related area such as accounting, finance, business administration, or marketing preferred.
8+ years of bond underwriting or similar experience in another surety company.
AFSB, AU, CPCU preferred.

The Bilingual Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and partners in the personal electronics warranty and insurance sector, with a focus on English- and Korean-speaking markets. The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end client relationship, from onboarding and product education to claims support and contract renewals. Leveraging bilingual language skills, cultural fluency, and industry expertise, the Account Manager will advocate for client needs, drive business growth, and help shape the future of electronics protection.

Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management: Establish, nurture, and expand relationships with customers, vendors, and strategic partners, serving as the trusted advisor for all warranty and insurance needs related to personal electronics.
Bilingual Communication: Provide clear, accurate, and culturally sensitive communication in both English and Korean, ensuring all client interactions-verbal and written-are professional, timely, and effective.
Account Onboarding & Education: Guide new clients through the onboarding process, educating them on available warranty and insurance products, coverage details, claims procedures, and value-added services.
Issue Resolution & Claims Support: Act as the primary contact for resolving client issues, troubleshooting coverage questions, and facilitating the claims process from submission to resolution, including document verification and follow-up.
Policy Management: Oversee policy issuance, renewals, amendments, and cancellations, ensuring all documents and transactions comply with internal protocols and regulatory standards.
Sales, Retention & Upsell: Identify opportunities to expand account value through cross-selling or upselling related protection plans, while proactively working to retain existing clients and minimize churn.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed about trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes within the electronics protection industry, especially as they pertain to Korean and English-speaking clients.
Reporting & Analytics: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, renewal rates, and issue resolutions. Generate regular reports for management, highlighting successes, challenges, and strategic opportunities.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with underwriting, actuarial, marketing, and implmentation teams to deliver seamless client experiences and resolve complex cases efficiently.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
Fluency in both English and Korean (spoken and written); ability to translate documents and facilitate conversations between English and Korean speakers.
2+ years of experience in account management, client services, or a related customer-facing role, preferably in the insurance, warranty, or consumer electronics industry.
