Position Requirements
Master of Arts or Master of Science (MA/MS) degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience as well as a minimum of 5 years DHS Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) experience.
DHS PPBE experience shall include:
Development of strategic plans; Resource Allocation Plan (RAP) and Program Decision Options (PDOs); Office of Budget and Management Justification (OMBJ) and Congressional Justification (CJ) volumes, attachments, and artifacts; and Appropriation Committees' Technical Assistance requests.
Development of tasks/responses for Congressional Appropriators, OMB, DHS strategy/policy teams, etc.
Experience in the following areas including,
Supporting the DHS appropriations process, working directly or indirectly with Congressional Appropriators, OMB Examiners, and/or DHS strategy teams.
Drafting executive-level communications (e.g., talking points and briefings) with few edits required.
Proven creative/outside-the-box thinker with the ability to identify problems and recommend alternatives and reasonable solutions.
Leading budget formulation data collection and analysis, summarizing results, and producing reports codified for a specific audience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience with SharePoint and program development tools as well as competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Project, etc.
Possess and retain a DHS Suitability clearance.

Recordkeeping:

Compliance and Training:
Stay up to date with relevant policies, regulations, and procedures related to PIV card enrollment.
Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of enrollment processes, data security practices, and customer service skills.
Qualifications
Required Competencies:
Experience with Microsoft Excel for data management, coordination, and reporting.
Ability to adapt to changing security procedures and requirements.
Prior experience in a similar role, customer service, or administrative position may be advantageous.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Attend local hiring events 3 - 4 times a month (may vary, depending on the business need).
