Apprentice plant maintenance mechanic or plant oiler - still learning (1-year experience or less). Plant maintenance mechanic - knowledge and ability to properly perform basic plant maintenance to include but not limited to splicing conveyor belt, tracking conveyor belt, replacing conveyor idlers, pulleys and bearings, replacing V-belts, and replacing screen media. Plant oiler - Knowledge and ability to properly perform basic plant preventive maintenance to include but not limited to proper greasing techniques, amounts and schedules, installing, repairing or replacing grease lines, oil changes in speed reducers, crushers, feeders and screen units, and proper oil sampling techniques. Knowledge of automation software and diagnostics would be helpful but not required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Good safety, behavior and attendance record. The selected candidate will be required to work collectively in a team environment with other co-workers and managers. Excellent verbal, written and comprehension communication skills. Willingness to do other work as needed, including heavy labor. Willingness to work outside in all weather extremes. Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including swing shift, graveyard shift, over time and weekends as required. Ability to work near, around or on light or heavy equipment.
