Job Duties: * Design circuit architectures to support product verification and validation. * Interpret test requirements and electrical test results. * Designing and developing Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) * Use CAD or other PCB design software in preparing PCB assembly and schematic capture. * Perform schematic capture and PCB board layout. * Analyze and resolve design related issues in a timely manner. * Work with design engineers during parts placement and signal routing to ensure PCB design meets all requirements * Review and recommend improvements to existing designs. * Work with cross-functional teams to optimize the designs, e.g. mechanical teams to assess board layout, keep outs and assembly hardware. Required Qualifications: * Associates, B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related discipline. * 7 to 10 years of PCB layout and routing experience (Mentor Graphics Xpedition/DxDesigner mandatory) * 7 to 10 designing high-speed digital and mixed signal PCBs starting from schematic netlists generated by other design engineers * Experience schematic capture, ces rules, layout, route, drc, dfx, dfm, fabrication files, printed board and printed board assembly drawings, mechanical checks. * Experienced with board designs with 16+ layers using buried and blind vias. * Experience with design/development of analog and/or digital circuits * Experience with design/development of cables and harnesses. * This position will be located at a facility that requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen. * Strong interpersonal skills * Strong analytical skills Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Mentor Graphics Xpedition/DxDesigner Compensation: We provide a competitive pay and benefits package.
