Position Location: 1830 S Horne St. Mesa, AZ 85204
Position Schedule: Monday - Friday with monthly alternating shifts from 5:00am - 2:30pm and 8:00 am - 5:30pm
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain and troubleshoot the automatic tablet dispensing
Perform routine maintenance, repair, and replacement of components
Calibrate and validate the accuracy of the pill counter
Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of the equipment
Adhere to company, state, and federal guidelines for licensing and training
Lift objects weight up to 50 lbs. when required
Stand up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work collaboratively as part of a team
Be flexible to meet shift requirements, including occasional overtime

Required Qualifications:
Pharmacy Technician License or Medication Handling License in the state of Arizona OR the ability to obtain licensure within 90 days of employment
6+ months of experience in at least one of the following: pharmacy, electrical/mechanical equipment, automotive, electronics, HVAC or electricity
Intermediate level of proficiency with basic hand tools (screwdriver, allen wrench, etc.)
Ability to work full time at 1830 S Horne St. Mesa, AZ 85204
Ability to work Monday through Friday with monthly alternating shifts from 5am-2:30pm and 8am-5:30pm
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds frequently in a warehouse environment
Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications:
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
Strong mechanical aptitude
Previous experience in a mail order pharmacy
Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience
Competent in basic math equations, including various forms of measurements, whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Participates in continuous quality system improvements and supports implementing improvements in the GMP Validation and Change Control Programs
Use critical thinking skills to partner with CQV and facility engineers to problem solve
Follow all relevant GxP regulations, guidelines, and company policies to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
Execute tasks precisely as defined in internal guiding documents including but not limited to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
Follow Good Documentation Practices and Data Integrity requirements to ensure data, documentation, and records are completed and maintained for use by the business and available to support audits or inspections

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science, or related discipline
3+ years of experience working in a GMP manufacturing/ facilities role.
Experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical/biotechnology cGxP environment.
Combination of equipment qualification, process validation, computer systems, cleaning, and sterilization is acceptable. QA pharmaceutical experience is also preferred.
Quality experience with in-depth knowledge of Validation approach, cGxP standards, and Risk-based validation.
Must have direct experience in the commissioning, qualification, and validation of facilities, utilities, production, laboratory, and support equipment.
Experience working in cell and gene therapy products is a plus.
Knowledge of Industry guidelines (ISPE, PDA) US and international regulations (FDA, cGMP, ICH, ISO, EMA) for validation of GMP facilities.
Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills especially needed to work in a cross-functional environment.

The Pharmacy Care Technician will make outbound calls to members and physicians to improve medication adherence and other pharmacy related quality metrics. Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to members to discuss reasons for non-compliant to medication(s), schedule pharmacy telephonic appointments, and/or obtain important follow up information from providers. Outbound calls are made primarily using an auto dialer requiring precision to detail and adaptability to type of response needed
May answer inbound calls from members and assists them with their inquiries. Routes calls to appropriate department if necessary
Follows system scripting and validates member demographic information
Documents the provider or member's record with accurate information obtained on the call
Performs desk and on-site review of all claims documentation to validate correct billing and that payment made to contracted pharmacies is supported and appropriate
Provides support to internal staff, subcontractors and providers with respect to Medicare drug related issues
May serve as a subject matter expert for the Pharmacy team and mentor new employees to the team as necessary
Participates in and contributes to the overall pharmacy quality improvement initiatives
Collects and maintains eligibility information in an appropriate and confidential manner
Enters all assigned applications within a specified time frame in order to ensure eligibility deadlines are met accordingly
Exhibits excellent phone and communication skills while providing complete and accurate information to members
Requests additional or supplemental information via correspondence in order to complete applications
