Obtain cross sectional images: This task includes the proper setting of protocols and sequences to obtain high quality images for diagnosis by the radiologist. Direct involvement during procedure: This task involves a) the assistance at the side of the radiologist during biopsy procedures as needed. b) Constant attention to the progression of the procedure while in the control room, monitoring progression of biopsy procedure c) Involved with operating injector when necessary. Photographing and processing of images: This task includes photographing and labeling scan images, processing and displaying final images on viewing machines for radiologist interpretation. Maintain all necessary records of image slices, injections, etc. Observe all rules and regulations regarding radiation safety for patients and staff. Train other associates and students in CAT Scan or MRI procedures. Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of assigned area. Perform duties of a 4T technologist as needed.
