Position Overview
This analyst level position is responsible for the processes related to validating and reconciling physical and financial bilateral trading invoices, ISO/RTO invoices, transmission invoices, managing P&L reporting , and reconciling reporting needs with accounting teams. Additional responsibilities will include supporting the quarterly EQR filings, trade control processes, and reporting of counterparty collateral balances.
The salary range is $75,000 - $90,000.
Responsibilities
Maintain the settlement system processes and P&L reporting
Understand settlement rules, timelines and supporting files, validate and reconcile the ISO/RTO market simulation shadow settlements statement, invoices and settlement details
Identify potential problems, present alternatives and proposed solutions
Process and account for financial and physical transactions using internal software and accounting processes
Provide various financial reports to trading, risk, accounting, and market operations, and other departments as needed
Balance Sheet Reconciliation/General Ledger tie out
Interact with accounting on weekly cash requirements for various ISO/RTO, invoice and reporting duties as needed
Calculate estimate and actual price curves for billing
Provide timely and accurate financial information to both external and internal customers.
Communicate efficiently with team members and management

Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
1-3 years of work experience in the electric utility industry
Direct experience in the wholesale or retail electric markets
Experience in market settlements or operations with solid understanding or direct experience of RTO/ISO market rules.
Strong Excel spreadsheet modeling skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with ability to perform ad hoc research, quantification, and reporting

Part of the HR Operations Team, the Analyst will provide our business partners with Human Resources, and key strategic stakeholders, data and reports using tools such as Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Transaction Business Intelligence, and Oracle Fusion Data. This position will play a critical role in providing meaningful information to drive business operations and objectives, as well as enable the success of the company's investment in Oracle reporting and analytics solutions. Responsibilities
Serves as subject matter expert on Oracle reporting and analytics tools including Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), and Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).
Facilitates meetings with business partners and the HRLT to capture requirements, determine reporting goals, and understand the business issue to be solved; design, develop, and build reports that share insights and provide answers for the business issues identified.
Performs validation and analysis of report data to ensure accuracy.
Creates and maintains technical documentation of processes, reports, applications, and procedures.
Builds credibility and rapport with customers to understand their needs.
Acts as a technical point of contact and conducts user acceptance testing of reports.
Supports the development and maintenance of data governance and/or data standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
Database query skills (SQL/PLSQL)
Understanding of Oracle data lineage, and Oracle reporting and analytics tools
Skills & Experience:
5-10 years of experience as an HRIS Analyst; preferably with experience in Oracle Fusion HCM
Skilled with Reporting and Analytics tools used in Oracle HCM Fusion(BIP, SQL, and other Oracle reporting tools)
Knowledge of Oracle HCM Fusion, specifically Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Learning, Talent Management, and Recruiting modules
Experience with backend databases including Oracle
Ability to leverage data visualization platforms such as Power BI to assure meaningful reporting formatting
Previous experience with PeopleSoft query manager
Strong analytical, problem solving, collaboration and technical skills
