Primary Responsibilities:
Support existing and developing mission areas, including Digital Nautical Chart or Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion production.
Perform cartographic and GIS analysis by extracting features from various sources, such as rasterized nautical charts, digital hydrographic survey data, and ortho-rectified imagery.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
High School diploma with EITHER
3 years of relevant military or full-time geospatial professional experience
3 years of experience plus GPC Level I and II certification
Experience in geography, cartography, and GIS, with proficiency in ArcGIS applications.
Knowledge of digital cartography, GIS production techniques, and NGA digital data formats.
Ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery source data for hydrographic products and databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in Nautical Maritime domains.
Education:
A high school diploma
Clearance Requirement:
Active TS/SCI clearance is required, with a willingness to obtain a polygraph upon request
