As an AFSIM Analyst…
Your primary responsibilities will be developing models and performing analysis on sensor, tracker, communication, and weapon systems for mission-level simulations using AFSIM, with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions, and supporting decision-making.
You will perform statistical analysis to find trends, assess risk, and document uncertainties in simulation results.
You will also collaborate with our software development team on improving our custom tools, including designing efficient data representations for large datasets, testing accurate interactions across interdependent algorithms, and automating production analysis pipelines.
You will likely work with a small team including junior analysts who will benefit from your experience, and senior engineers with whom you will guide the direction of projects.
You can engage in independent research projects that encourage creative solutions and reward independent initiative.
You will have the opportunity to present your work through briefings to both technical specialists and pivotal decision makers.
Qualifications

Have a Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or another related discipline.
Have at least two years of experience working with AFSIM to conduct modeling, simulation, and analysis.

Are highly skilled in learning new and challenging topics.

Are proficient to fluent in a programming or scripting language such as MATLAB or Python.

Investigates computer and information security incidents to determine extent of compromise to national security information and automated information systems.
Assists with defining security objectives and system-level performance requirements.
Research and stays abreast of relevant regulations and standards, threat intelligence feeds, tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities.
Configures and validates secure systems, tests security products/systems to detect computer and information security weaknesses.
Maintains the computer and information security incident, damage and threat assessment programs.
Supports the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results and preparation of required reports.
Involved in the periodic conduct of a review of each system's audits and monitors corrective actions until all actions are closed.
Supports the development of integrated system solutions ensuring proprietary/confidential data and systems are protected.
Involved in the establishment of strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems.
Conduct or support security awareness training programs for staff and users to promote a culture of security within the organization.
Performs regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
Develops and implements risk mitigation strategies.
Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures.
Develop and update proactive incident response plans to ensure preparedness for potential security breaches.
Participates in incident response drills and exercises.
Evaluate the security practices of vendors and third-party service providers that are part of the enterprise architecture.
Ensures that third-party services comply with the organization's security policies and standards.
Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, findings, and recommendations.
Maintain thorough documentation of security processes, procedures, and configurations.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years relevant experience. An Associates Degree may substitute 2 years' experience, and a Bachelor's degree can substitute 3 years' experience.

The ideal candidate will bring significant experience with liability management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings, and/or special situations financings.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent creditors or borrowers in complex financing transactions related to:
Liability management
Debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings
Exit financings from Chapter 11
Special situations and opportunistic financings
Work closely with teams on top-of-capital-structure representations, often involving:
Hedge funds
CLO managers
Private equity sponsors
Financial institutions
Advise on both in-court (Chapter 11) and out-of-court restructurings.
Collaborate across practice areas to manage sophisticated, often high-profile, transactions.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school
Admitted to practice and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
