Ensures department policies and procedures are only referenced (not duplicated) in FFS policies and procedures and that they do not conflict. Works with the department as needed on policy updates, approvals, and posting approved documents to SharePoint. Proactively identify opportunities for process and documentation improvement.
Legislative Budget Request, Bill Analyses and Regulatory Plan: With direction by the FFS Director, coordinates legislative budget request for the FFS. Responsible for receiving, reviewing, and working with Bureaus and the Director's Office to review proposed State of Florida bills, changes in laws, regulations and department policies and procedures to determine what impact they may have on the FFS. Tracks deadline dates to ensure information/responses are submitted on-time. Coordinates and sends review/analyses requests to the appropriate bureaus and to complete appropriate forms. Summarizes comments into the bill analyses form. Submits analyses to the Director's Office for review/approval, submits the approved response to the requesting department office by established deadlines.
Drafts and works with the Office of General Counsel/FFS Program Attorney to review and finalize the annual regulatory plan. Ensures regulatory plan is submitted by the deadline.
Administrative: Coordinates and assists as required with all responsibilities within the FFS Administrative Section, to include Disciplinary Actions, Union Bargaining Contract negotiations, Hiring, Recruitment, Special Projects, Quality Reviews and Drug Testing Program.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position serves as a primary point of contact for local, state, and national criminal justice agencies, managing and resolving a high volume of inquiries through a centralized helpdesk. Provides first-level support for a wide range of issues, including technical hardware and software problems, network connectivity, and procedural questions related to complex criminal justice information systems. Thoroughly documents all service calls and resolutions within a ticketing system, ensuring accurate tracking and closure of all reported issues while communicating technical information to users with a high degree of professionalism and adherence to established operating procedures. This is an essential position that functions as a vital component of a 24/7 critical support operation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific duties include:
* Beyond direct user support, this role is responsible for ensuring system integrity and availability;
* Proactively monitoring network and system services to detect and address circuit outages, system issues, and misrouted communications;
* Performing in-depth troubleshooting and problem analysis, utilizing diagnostic tools and established techniques to resolve hardware, software, and communication problems;
* Coordinating with vendors and other support staff to escalate and resolve complex issues while maintaining accurate logs of all system downtime;
* Disseminating critical messages and security bulletins statewide;
* Redirecting misrouted interstate communications;
* Assisting with user certification and system access inquiries;
* Providing real-time assistance and guidance to other support staff; and
* Managing and routing incoming system status notifications.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
* Knowledge of, or ability to learn, IT helpdesk operations, including service management/ticketing systems, incident tracking, and escalation procedures.
* Knowledge of, or ability to learn, network monitoring principles, hardware/software troubleshooting methodologies, and common diagnostic tools;
* Skill in analyzing and resolving technical issues related to computer hardware, software, and network connectivity;
* Skill in accurately documenting technical issues and their resolutions with a high level of detail and clarity;
* Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively, both verbally and in writing, to users with varying levels of technical expertise;
* Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of tickets and inquiries in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment;
* Ability to work effectively under pressure, maintain composure, and make sound, logical decisions in a critical operational environment;

POSITION OVERVIEW:
This is a technical professional position within the Division of Information Technology, Bureau of Strategic Information Technologies.

+ Maintain daily accounting activities and prior authorization documentation per the Reimbursement Solution procedures.
+ Maintain security and confidentiality of patient information at all times.
+ Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of relevant clinical operations, products and services
+ Influences customer decision to purchase new products and services
+ Leads the post-sales assessment, design, implementation and monitoring of new products and services in multi-site and/or complex environments
+ Develops, plans and manages customer training programs in multi-site and/or complex environments
+ Serves as lead consultant and resource to internal and external customers in multi-site and/or complex environments
+ Mentors internal staff regarding best demonstrated practices
+ Significantly influences customer acceptance and utilization of new products and services in multi-site and/or complex environments
+ Initiates discussion to obtain in-depth customer feedback for product and service improvement opportunities
**Qualifications**
+ 0 - 2 years of experience in related field preferred (open to fresh graduates!)
+ High level of attention to detail and a willingness to learn
+ Strong analytical skills preferred
+ Must be self-motivated and have the ability to understand and follow instructions
+ Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
+ Strong written and verbal communication
+ Able to work independently and solve problems on behalf of Cardinal and the customer
+ Must be able to prioritize work to maximize job effectiveness
+ Excellent interpersonal skills
+ Strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
+ Strong telephone presence/etiquette
