Job Summary The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a IT Network Engineer (IT Network Engineer Staff IV/V) responsible for architecting and implementing Enterprise LAN, WAN and Data Center network infrastructure in an all-Cisco environment. The Aerospace Corporation's enterprise networks span 24 sites with primary locations in El Segundo, CA; Chantilly, VA; and Colorado Springs, CO. This person will lead a team of highly skilled network engineers, firewall engineers, and network services engineers in support of the Corporate classified and unclassified networks. The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, onsite at our location in Chantilly, VA. What You'll Be Doing Design and implement high availability enterprise WAN links utilizing SDWAN technology (Cisco SDWAN/IWAN, Cisco ASR/ISR Routers, Cisco Firewalls) and dual WAN links (MPLS & Internet). Design and implement high availability, scalable data center networks based on Cisco SDN (ACI, Nexus Dashboard) technology. Develop secure network segments (enclaves, DMZs) using Cisco Firepower Firewalls, Cisco ASA Firewalls and other Cisco network security products. Perform setup, configuration and testing of network designs in our DevOps lab located in El Segundo.
