The Role
We are currently seeking a Lead Analyst, Credit Strategy & Analytics to drive client's strategic initiatives on the cutting edge of near prime underwriting and analytically driven decision making. This individual will lead and accelerate our journey to leverage key data sources and analytical techniques beyond bureau data in every part of the lending lifecycle.
As a key member of the credit and pricing analytics team, this individual will be responsible for driving business results through multiple areas including growth strategies, risk management, and enhanced customer experiences across all products and channels. Strategies driven and influenced include but are not limited to underwriting decisions, pricing, product terms, customer segmentation, channel optimization, and customer experience.
Working with various partners, the role will have responsibilities for roadmap development, competitive intelligence, strategy implementation, and performance monitoring related to a broad expansion in uses and value driven from bank data and related data sources. This individual will represent the company and engage with key business stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners.
A successful candidate will utilize skills that enable them to be versatile and successfully lead initiatives across multiple disciplines. They will bring new ways of thinking, data sources, technologies, and capabilities to our business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop the vision and set of objectives to create step change improvement in our bank data decisioning Design, recommend, document, and execute consumer underwriting, product, and customer experience strategies to improve our lending portfolio Understand the data environment to appropriately prioritize and set expectations for key reporting, modeling, and analytical priorities Use new data sources, analytical frameworks, and models to create insights, draw conclusions, and influence decision making across the organization Effectively prioritize competing initiatives; translate strategic priorities into individual/team initiatives and manage expectations
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, or Computer Science) 4+ years of experience in experience in consumer lending, driving informative risk decisions through analyses; Master's or PHD degrees may offset experience Advanced analytical skillset using tools such as SQL and SAS, R, or Python Innovative and capable of developing creative solutions to complex, data-driven problems

This position works with our marketing and business analytics teams to develop an effective pricing strategy for internet, mobile, and entertainment. Responsible for providing business performance analysis, reporting and forecasting as an independent contributor. Also responsible for providing a variety of financial data and maintaining and updating financial models and plans. Reports financial analysis to senior management in support of functional business objectives. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

Collects statistical analysis and builds reports.Assists in budgeting, forecasting, variance analyses and related reports, as assigned.Conducts financial research, analyzes financial performance against objectives and determines emerging financial trends.Maintains statistical/financial databases.Works with marketing and business analytics teams to optimize pricing strategies by understanding customer behavior. Performs additional Business Operations duties and tasks as the need arises.Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Analyze overall fraud metrics. Skills
You will be working with large-scale business data sets and the ideal candidate will have advanced skills in data manipulation, script-building, Excel, and SQL. (5+ years of experience preferred) You will possess a strong understanding of internal business segment (stakeholders) and presentation skills You will possess a strong understanding of working in complex corporate environments and have the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to complete tasks.The ideal candidate will have strong presentation skills and be comfortable with presenting to large audiences and executive-level stakeholders.You will have experience in relational database structures, research methods, sampling techniques and system testing You are a go-getter, are self-directed, and able to work independently You will have advanced data mining experience You will have several years of experience with BI tools (Hyperion, SAS, Python, Tableau, etc.) You will have an Analytical mindset and a genuine interest in crunching datasets and delving into advanced research to discover trends.Fraud background preferred in data driven rule writing/rule design Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills. The ability to complete quality work within strict timeframes and meet deadlines.Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
