Responsibilities
Our Consultants help our clients transform their business processes, systems, and improve internal controls; improve efficiency of operations; increase transparency and performance management; and comply with Federal laws and regulations. During your assignment, you will be given the opportunity to support projects to address some of the most significant project challenges faced by our federal and commercial clients. The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals who are willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Project members can be provided the opportunity to interact with our clients' senior management, as well as with the opportunity to enhance their skills in the areas of technical competency, business development, client service, and people development.
You'll be working with an experienced team to support the development of client deliverables, internal and client presentations, day-to-day project logistics, and any additional project tasks.
Depending on your area of expertise and team assignment, this position provides individuals the opportunity to serve clients in the area(s) of: informatics, data analytics, IT strategy, software development, visual design, process improvement, cybersecurity, information management systems.

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited degree program in 2022 and graduate by Summer of 2023) Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the country No sponsorship is available for this position
Desired:
Degree/Majors Preferred: Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science/Computer Information Systems, Business Technology, Systems Management, Finance, Accounting, Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Current GPA of 3.3 or higher Previous related intern experience Experience planning and executing projects of varying degrees of complexity, preferably projects that involve serving a client and engaging directly with the client throughout project performance Experience working in teams to produce high-impact work products, reports, and other deliverables in a fast-paced environment
Possesses strong oral and written communication skills Heightened attention to detail, and the ability to create and edit technical and non-technical written work products and graphical presentations Ability to view problems from multiple angles and apply a variety of solutions to solving them Ability to participate in client-facing discussions and meetings Ability to synthesize information quickly and learn new skills

Overview of Position
PerkinElmer is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Data Analytics Consultant to serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor in supporting our customers with our clinical technological solutions. In addition to creating strong relationships with our customers and internal team members, this person will gather requirements, work with the development team to develop and implement clinical trial dashboards; and assist the customer in adopting the clinical solutions. This role requires knowledge/education in Data Analytics, Life Sciences and/or Information technology disciplines.

Job Description / Key Responsibilities
Build TIBCO Spotfire analyses and work with PerkinElmer developed technologies for clinical use cases Serve as a consultant who creates relationships between the project team and the customer. Establish themselves and the team as a trusted partner Serves as a subject matter expert in data analytics tools and data management processes Understand customers' needs and recommend a technical and/or process solution Analyze data and understand how to use the data in the project Design visualizations and lead the customer through an iterative design process Understand and provide recommendation to data related problems Understand Spotfire infrastructure and assist in providing support of the Spotfire platform Balance two to four work-streams at a time Deliver training to customer on technical solutions Creation of documentation (e.g., SOP, work instruction documents, etc.)

Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree3 years' experience in informatics or data analytics Good understanding of the software development and release life cycle Experience with TIBCO Spotfire at the enterprise level Design visualizations experience Understand customers' needs and recommend a technical and/or process solution

Strong aptitude for learning and applying informatics technologies to business problems MS Excel power user Knowledge of SQL statements for data manipulation and analysis Some experience or knowledge in clinical or research industries or be able to learn the terminology and processes rapidly is preferred Comfortable working in high-tempo environments Facilitate team and customer meetings effectively Experience participating in cross-functional teams and Agile Scrum service engagements and tools such as Kanban boards Able to receive and deliver professional critique Knowledge of databases, data architecture and system design is preferred Knowledge of scripting languages is preferred (e.g., R, SAS, Python, etc.) Experience with EDC systems such as Medidata Rave, or others.
