A clinical geneticist provider volunteered services to a medical clinic in Haiti which provides care to the poor. Several physicians donated their time to the Medical Ministry of the Asheville-Buncombe County Christian Ministry serving uninsured and underinsured residents of Buncombe County. Several cardiologists, orthopedic physicians, pediatric providers, and primary care physicians provided community education across Western North Carolina including sports physicals and screenings for athletes at local schools.
