PROGRAMS FEATURE TIMELY HEALTH TOPICS, AND ARE PRESENTED BY PHYSICIANS, NURSES, NURSE EDUCATORS, DIETITIANS AND OTHER CLINICAL PROFESSIONALS. - THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS HEALTHCARE SERVICES THAT ARE NEEDED BY THIS COMMUNITY, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT A MARGIN IS ACHIEVED BY PROVIDING CARE. EXAMPLES INCLUDE: EMERGENCY SERVICES AND BIRTHING CENTER.- THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED A CARE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM FOR COPD PATIENTS IN OUR COMMUNITY SUPPORTED BY GRANT FUNDING.- THE ORGANIZATION ALONG WITH THE TRANSYLVANIA COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT, THE FREE CLINIC AND OTHERS-WORKED COLLABORATIVELY TO BRING A BLUE RIDGE COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVICES CLINIC TO OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY. THE BREVARD HEALTH CENTER WAS OPENED TO INCREASE ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE, COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH SERVICES IN TRANSYLVANIA COUNTY. THIS FEDERAL HEALTH CENTER OFFERS A FULL SPECTRUM OF HEALTH SERVICES TO RESIDENTS, INCLUDING PRIMARY CARE FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN, DENTAL SERVICES, MEDICATION ASSISTANCE AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH.
