Anchor Packaging is seeking dependable and safety-minded individuals to join our Marmaduke team as Cutter Box Packers. In this role, you'll be responsible for packing quality products efficiently and safely, ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting production goals.
This is a Safety Sensitive Position under Arkansas's Medicinal Marijuana Provisions.

Build the given number of pallets, once training is complete

Expected to be able to work without constant supervision to achieve production quotas in the repair area, safely
Stack pallets or materials in the correct manner, following inventory control instructions
Check loads to make sure they are secure
What You'll Need
High school degree or GED required
Completion of a craft apprenticeship preferred
Requires quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
Observance of all safety rules and regulations
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardized requirements exist

* Examine products after repairing to verify conformance to quality standards
* Must maintain a clean & safe working environment that meets 48forty's standards
* Build the given number of pallets, once training is complete
* Repair the given number of pallets, once training is complete
* Expected to be able to work without constant supervision to achieve production quotas in the repair area, safely
* Stack pallets or materials in the correct manner, following inventory control instructions
* Check loads to make sure they are secure
What You'll Need
* High school degree or GED required
* Completion of a craft apprenticeship preferred
* Requires quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
* Observance of all safety rules and regulations
* Ability to communicate effectively
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardized requirements exist
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
* Demonstrated experience safely operating air-driven, electric, pneumatic, and manual woodworking tools
* Previous experience in welding, lumbering, construction, carpentry, or roofing is strongly preferred

As a Pallet Repairer, you'll get to build and repair wooden pallets from freshly cut or recycled wood on a daily basis to fulfill all of our customers' needs! This is a piece rate position, so the more pallets you repair, the more money you make!
Hourly Pay:
$16.00/hr.
Shift(s):
2nd shift Sunday-Thursday 3:00pm - 11:30pm

What You'll Do
Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers
Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas
Ensure safety for yourself and others by following all procedures as set by the company
Achieve high standards of quality while maintaining high volume of finished goods
What You'll Need
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work overtime as needed
