Overseeing maintenance operations to ensure assembly equipment is in good operating condition to minimize downtime by: · Providing leadership through performance planning using Continuous Improvement Discussions to ensure clarity and buy-in of expectations and achievement of departmental targets. · Identifying opportunities and implementing new methods to reduce equipment related downtime and improve the efficiency of maintenance technicians. · Coordinating maintenance/repair improvement projects and ordering the necessary parts for projects. · Conducting, delegating, and developing training programs for technicians. · Supporting manufacturing by addressing problem solving issues and theorizing improvement ideas to achieve maximum machine efficiency. · Delegating and participating in daily maintenance/repair duties. · Participating in daily production and line walk through and communicate results · Monitoring budgetary compliance. · Managing manufacturing downtime and implementing countermeasures based on maintenance downtime reports to ensure process performance targets are achieved. · Managing tools and spare parts system to ensure replacement parts availability. · In-putting new spare parts to the CMMS system. · Issuing PMs to technicians and verify / sign off on Maximo PMs by technicians. · Posting down time percentage charts and updating them monthly · Updating individual technician goal planners at the end of each month, conducting continuous improvement discussions (CID) with subordinates · Issue Before/After (BA) and Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) based on down time reports, daily walk through and weekly result and monitor countermeasure activity. · Monitoring task board and ensuring tasks are completed on time. · Ensuring maintenance area and all assembly lines cleanliness meet expectations. · Address other issues and/or assume other responsibilities as they pertain to improving Quality, Cost, Delivery and Development. Maintenance & Refrigeration Lead Pay: $80,000 - $115,000 + Bonus + 5K Sign-on The Maintenance & Refrigeration Lead is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the Maintenance and Refrigeration teams to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all utilities and production equipment across the facility. This includes systems such as refrigeration (preferably ammonia), cogeneration, boilers, compressed air, and water. The Lead is accountable for daily maintenance scheduling, troubleshooting, safety oversight, team leadership, and coordination of both corrective and preventative maintenance. This role also serves as a hands-on technical expert and liaison between maintenance and production operations. What You Will Do: Team Leadership & Oversight Supervise refrigeration mechanics, coil cleaners, cogen operators, and maintenance technicians. Lead passdown meetings and ensure alignment across shifts. Assign, coordinate, and follow up on daily work schedules and emergency repairs. Monitor team compliance with lunch/breaks and shift safety procedures. Support evaluations and development plans for maintenance team members. Reallocate technicians as needed to meet changing priorities. Maintenance & Utilities Operations Perform and assign preventive and corrective maintenance on all utilities systems: refrigeration, steam, water, air compressors, and cogeneration equipment. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, troubleshoot systems, and execute repairs or upgrades. Ensure uptime of critical equipment by implementing lifecycle management best practices. Pull and report data for regulatory agencies (e.g., SCAQMD). Maintain wrench time at 95% or above; ensure accurate and timely entry in CMMS. Planning, Scheduling & Documentation Work with planners to scope, kit, and assign work orders. Prioritize safety and regulatory compliance tasks. Manage parts procurement, quotes, and inventory tracking. Support planning calendars and ensure labor and parts readiness for future jobs. Review and verify work orders for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Ensure full utilization of CMMS systems for maintenance tracking and metrics reporting. Facilities & General Maintenance Support facility services and minor building moves or repairs. Assign and coordinate vendor or contractor work for high-complexity tasks. Perform general building upkeep: electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, machining. Assist with inspections and internal/external audits. Safety, Compliance & Training Enforce GMP, PPE, HACCP, sanitation, and plant safety protocols. Conduct lock-out/tag-out procedures and routine safety inspections. Train and develop technicians to support food safety and OSHA compliance. Ensure all personnel complete required technical and safety training. We are seeking experienced Commercial Roofing Inspectors to join our team. $20-33/hour (not including prevailing wage) The Field Resource Inspector is responsible for completing documents, forms, processes and data gathering to ensure accuracy, quality and integrity in our field inspection reporting. Documents include electronic, hard or soft copies. This position is responsible to perform specific inspection services at the direction of the local Foreman or Supervisor. The Field Resource Inspector will work independently or with other resources depending on the task being performed. The Field Resource Inspector will complete and be responsible for all types of job site inspections including: TremCare, Job Site, QA and QA Plus. The Inspection technician is responsible for daily review and performance of safety, efficiency, and quality as it relates to the performance of inspection services. The Technician III, Maintenance is a senior-level maintenance worker responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
