BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field. MSEE is a plus.
5+ years of professional hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering.
Strong understanding of both digital and analog design including test methods.
Experience with writing test scripts using Python.
Experience with testing batteries and battery management systems.

About This Role:

What We Want To See
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
5-8 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the medical device or other regulated industries.
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, PCB design, and component selection.
Experience with component lifecycle management, EOL replacements, and cost reduction initiatives.
Familiarity with schematic and layout tools (Altium a plus) as well as circuit analysis and simulation tools (SPICE).
Hands-on lab experience including soldering, data acquisition, debugging techniques, and lab test equipment: multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.
Experience with a scripting language for analyzing and plotting data (Python a plus).

Job summary

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Warfare (EW) engineer to join our cognitive sensing and radio frequency (CSRF) engineering team. To be successful in this role, you will contribute electrical, optoelectrical, thermal and electromechanical knowledge to the design of In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) medical device instruments, draw and analyze electrical schematics, and debug circuits, or assist in the debugging process, by soldering and de-soldering components, taking measurements, and/or writing or following test procedures.
