The Digital Infotainment team is seeking an Android software engineer to work on the User Interface for Lucid's automotive infotainment system. Come be a part of the next generation of luxury EVs!
ResponsibilitiesWork in conjunction with the user experience design team to define, scope, and refine the user-facing features and interactions.Design, implement, and deliver the in-vehicle software utilizing the underlying platform, frameworks, and SDKs.Work in conjunction with platform software engineers to analyze and optimize the system to achieve a highly responsive user experience.Diagnose, analyze, and resolve relevant issues based on testing, and user validation.
Minimum QualificationsA minimum of 5+ years of industry experience in Android development, and proven industry experience of shipping Android software products.Domain knowledge and experience of software development on the Android system, and have worked with multiple area of Android SDK.Proficiency in Java programming to write clean and well structured code.Experience with IDEs, source code management, unit testing, code review, issue tracking, and graphics performance analysis tools.
Preferred QualificationsAbility to communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively.Passion for user interactions and doing so with excellence.Desire and willingness to constantly learn new knowledge and skills.
EducationBS in Computer Science or other Engineering degree.

As an Android Software Engineer, you will be working on the Component Library, working closely with designers and collaborating with several teams to build and integrate a suite of patterns, interactions and experiences.

Requirements


3-5 + years of experience with Android application development Experience with coding in both Kotlin and Java Experience building maintainable and testable codebases, including unit testing techniques Experience in designing and implementing user interfaces. Experience in high-fidelity prototyping Experience working with cross-functional teams Business level communication in English

Our client, a global technology organization, has an immediate need for an Android Developer to join its San Jose, CA based operations.
Responsibilities


Support software tools team with multiple Android apps to execute and data analysis tests The ideal candidate will be intricately involved in building intuitive and rich visualization Android app to capture and analyze test data on device. Develop Android app to run and analyze data real time on device. Implement statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed


Requirements


5+ years practical experience with software development application in Android, data process and data analytics and data visualizing/presenting. Experts in Android app development and Android platform, such as security, shared memory, etc... Coding knowledge and experience with several languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, php, etc. Familiar with source control software such GIT/Gerrite and Jira. Familiar with on device automation via adb interface. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
