The position frequently oversees less experienced electricians, as well as trains apprentices in the trade. The Maintenance Electrician ensures that all work is performed to the highest standards and meet all safety requirements in the performance of the work. Night Shift Sc: 6pm-6am, 2-2-3 schedule Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain, inspect, and modify electrical equipment, technologies and processes. Lead plant projects and act as point of contact for contractors as delegated by the maintenance manager. Perform daily preventive maintenance of electrical circuits. Install new electrical circuits. Bend and install electrical conduit following all appropriate local and national codes. Troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors and equipment controls. Help plant production personnel troubleshoot electrical-related production problems. Maintain a safe work environment. Understand and comply with NEC electrical standards and codes. Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings and install as specified. Provide coverage for maintenance manager when on vacation or otherwise unavailable.
