JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Troubleshoot and maintain PLC and variable speed drive controlled high speed production equipment and batch processes. * Maintain the power distribution of plant equipment. * Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment, using precision measurement tools. * Interpret schematics and equipment manuals. * Analyze process data and make decisions on equipment maintenance and improvement activities. * Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) to increase equipment reliability and up-time. * Utilize SAP to accurately and thoroughly document and track all corrective and preventive maintenance performed throughout the course of the day; including searching and issuing parts, documenting equipment issues and entering inspection/measurement points. * Prioritize and self-schedule maintenance work around production activities to achieve both production and maintenance KPI's. * Drive brewery goals & objectives through individually led projects and continuous improvement activities. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma or GED required. * 3 year industrial electrical/programming experience or two-year technical degree preferred. * PLC experience preferred; Multiple platforms such as Allen Bradley PLC5, Control Logix, and Siemens programming and troubleshooting experience preferred. * Knowledge of variable frequency drives, servo motors, and motor control systems up to 480 volts required. * Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes (e.g. six sigma analysis) and propose and implement remedies. * Ability to perform calibrations, installation and maintenance of process and analytical instrumentation. * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, troubleshoot and re-wire high speed and/or highly automated equipment such as AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, and PLC I/O modules. * Strong computer skills required; Microsoft Office Excel proficiency as well as Computerized Maintenance Management Systems experience preferred. * Experience in computer networking (routers, Ethernet, switches, etc.) preferred. * Mechanical troubleshooting experience in high-speed packaging and/or highly automated continuous process environment preferred (valve replacement, conveyor bearing and chain replacement, motor/gearbox replacement, lube routes) WHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH: Anheuser-Busch has always dreamed big. Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:00 pm -10:00 pm BASIC PURPOSE Mechanic will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of the Fleet road equipment including tractor, trailer, thermo-king, converter dolly and maintenance vehicles. Ensure compliance with all State and Federal trucking regulations. Mechanics will also be responsible for the documentation, completion, and to keep current the maintenance logs for all repairs and parts used daily. The position will be required to perform road rescue as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Each item should account for 10% or more) Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, reefers, lift gates, etc.). Perform preventative maintenance within company standards. Complete documentation of all repair orders, PM list and parts accountability. Handle road service calls; perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed. Keep track of assigned repairs by logging in and out of the Shop Fax system. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines. Maintain inventory and proper recordkeeping. Backup to other maintenance shop personnel. Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility and certifications. Performs other duties as assigned. SUPERVISION RELATIONSHIPS Internal: VP of Operations, Transportation Manager, various other USF personnel External: Vendors, Parts and equipment delivery personnel QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent required. Related Experience/Requirements: A valid Class-A CDL license DOT certified preferred. Must have (7) years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic or a combination of both; or (5) years verifiable hands-on experience with either Diesel Mechanic Certification or TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certification or both. Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs. Successfully demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills. Prior experience in administering appropriate PM program. Must furnish own personal hand tools. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations as pertaining to the shop and fleet. Ability to read and understand technical and service manuals. Maintenance Mechanics are also responsible for troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC electrical systems, reading schematics, and using electrical testing equipment (Volt-Ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope). Our experienced Maintenance Mechanics have extensive understanding of Programmable Logic Controls and contribute a unique skillset through the use of preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking. Maintenance Mechanics have the skill and flexibility to work on any equipment within the facility and to operate lathes, mills, arc and Heliarc welders for repair, and fabrication.
