Job Requirements: The Animal Care Team is responsible for providing the general care and upkeep of all animals in the hospital. Ensuring that all animals that enter the hospital have a clean and comfortable environment, while being cared for by compassionate and attentive individuals. Team members also help with maintaining the clinic and its grounds for additional cleanliness and organization. Reports To: Animal Care Team Manager Responsibilities Include: Clean and sanitize all kennels, cages, and all animal holding areas. General care such as bathing, feeding, walking, and cleaning up after animals. Monitoring patients hourly and documenting temperament, eliminations, possible signs of illnesses, diseases, or injuries and other basic needs of the animals. Maintain the clinic as a whole by performing tasks including, but not limited to, sweeping/mopping floors, wiping counters, taking out trash, cleaning bathrooms, and checking equipment and supplies.
