Unit Details The CAT Team RN is a member of the multidisciplinary team that works to assess Behavioral Health patients across the AnMed system and to assist the Emergency Department and psychiatry providers to determine the appropriate plan of care. The CAT team is a group of Behavioral Health professionals who provide intake assessments and work with both internal and external sources to safely disposition these patients from the ED or medical unit. Duties & Responsibilities * Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient needs utilizing the nursing process. Ability to handle interruptions often and be able to move from one task to another.     The EP staff are responsible for providing patient care to patients who are undergoing an invasive procedure in the Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab area. This person is responsible for assisting the physician at the table or monitoring the patient's condition in the control room area during these procedures and must be knowledgeable of all equipment and supplies that are used in these circumstances. It is the responsibility of the EP staff to keep the physician apprised of the patient's condition during the procedure and for communicating and documenting the technical aspects of the procedure, such as hemodynamic responses, EKG rhythm, and response during all levels of care. Staff must be knowledgeable in acquisition and storage of images and is responsible for the operation of x-ray equipment and for radiation safety. In addition, the staff are knowledgeable in a variety of specialty equipment and can work directly with the physician to provide this technology during a case.
