Expected graduation in December 2026 or May 2027
Previous internship experience is preferred
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team in Walled Lake, Michigan. The ideal candidate is a collaborative professional who is committed to supporting students' communication, language development, and academic success. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for students across designated grade levels.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine speech-language needs.
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate communication goals into the classroom environment.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district requirements.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility decisions.
Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and strategies for home carryover.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current Michigan SLP License and/or Michigan Department of Education (MDE) School Certification (or ability to obtain).
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Experience in a school setting is a plus.
