Pros of working at Anne Arundel County Public Library

The people/customer's and the library employee's. Watching customers get answers to questions and having them come in, knowing they want to be here. Many a resume, children's age related books, helping customer with unemployment, Sharing authors and book titles with customer and employee, the enjoyment of a customer's smile because we helped them. The kindness we give our customers.

Sometimes the misunderstandings with changes or add on's. More exchange of information, everybody's opinion needs to feel counted.

Favorite Perk? The wonderful, fascinating people in our whole system. We all have different personalities and ideas. It is such a pleasure when we all mesh and some of the ideas become reality. The Holiday, Days off, sick leave etc. a great perk, especially for families. Learning something new. Sometimes we need nudges, but what great learning opportunities we have.
