The PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant provides direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients upon physician referral under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements
Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)
Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
One (1) year experience in post acute care or related setting preferred
CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Summary:
A Stepdown Registered Nurse provides care to patients who are transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical or general inpatient units. Under general supervision, coordinates, leads, and trains entry-level staff on various project control activities while working closely with program managers, project managers, and project support staff within the assigned department. Provides technical input for the City's project control system (Primavera P6) that is utilized by various City departments, including developing, implementing, and recommending new reporting techniques within the P6 system in collaboration with project managers and IT personnel.

*Per Diem Program Physician - Fort Worth, TX* Schedule: 5:00 am to 11:00 am for 3-4 days per week (Monday through Friday) *MedMark Treatment Centers* is dedicated to providing individualized treatment integrating pharmacotherapy, clinical counseling, recovery support and medical services.

*Primary Job Function:*
* Admitting Patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment.
* Applicant must be able to cover absences for the Medical Director during vacations, attendance at addiction meetings, and personal absences.
* Physician will obtain a history and physical exam.
* Documentation into the EMR, entering orders for methadone dosing in the EMR or writing a buprenorphine prescription.
* Consistently monitoring patient dosages in conjunction with the Treatment Center Director, Counselors and Dosing Nurses.
* Consulting on patients that are high risk and doing annual medication reviews.
* Willing to supervise Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners
* Other related duties as determined by supervisor
*Qualifications | Education | Certifications:*
* Boarded Certified in Addiction Medicine preferred
* Must be licensed in the state of Texas
* Must be able to interact compassionately with a diverse population
* 1-year of addiction medicine and primary care experience required
* Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
