Serve as the on-site point of contact for contractors, ensuring they follow organizational procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Groundskeeping Maintain outdoor areas: mow lawns, trim shrubs, remove debris, and ensure overall curb appeal. Clear walkways and parking areas during inclement weather. Manage proper disposal of landscaping and maintenance waste. Safety & Security Monitor facilities for safety hazards and security concerns; take corrective action when needed. Support implementation of safety procedures and emergency protocols. Conduct regular inspections of fire extinguishers, exits, and other safety systems. Inventory & Supplies Track and manage inventory of cleaning products, tools, and equipment. Notify leadership when supplies or equipment need replenishing or replacement. Receive and organize deliveries as needed. Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 3 years of experience in custodial, janitorial, or maintenance roles (multi-site experience preferred). Strong working knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and general building maintenance. Experience coordinating or assisting with vendor and contractor work preferred. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision. Professional communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and extended standing. Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation required for multi-site coverage. Working Conditions Flexible schedule required, including occasional evenings and weekends. Work environments include both indoor and outdoor settings, sometimes in varying weather conditions. Have patience and understanding with children; develop a sensitivity to the emotional needs of children.
