This is a shared living staff position in the East Longmeadow area. The individual receives Day support services from M-F and some hours during weekends and as a relief for the shared living provider. We are currently looking for a calm, polite, responsible person to provide client supervision during awake overnights.
Open Positions:
Part-time Companion hours (there's some flexibility with the days covered) Monday-Friday from 3pm-6pm and Saturday-Sunday 12pm-4pm.
Pay rate: $20.00/hr
Required:
High School Diploma.
At least three years of experience working in the field of human services with DDS, Clients, Autism or Mental Health Individuals.
All formal and site-specific trainings with be provided by the agency and Shared Living Provider.

What you'll do.
As an ABA Like Skills Trainer you will work with 1-2 individuals with ASD (at different times) 1:1 in their home (and at our center), implement a behavior plan as instructed by your direct supervisor, and daily data collection.
Qualifications/skills to have.
Energetic individuals passionate about working with those impacted by ASD, organized and able to follow behavior plans, responsible and timely, desires a fun work environment with room to grow, experience working with individuals with ASD preferred but not required. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred. RBT or ABA experience preferred.
Part Time (Under 24 hours) & Full Time (24-30 hours) positions available. Sessions are after school during the school year and Saturdays. Early Childhood sessions may be during the day as well.

The program is slated to open in November of 2025. This program provides long term support for male adolescents (5-13 years of age). In this program, the population served will receive housing, therapeutic, emotional, and educational support with a goal to develop healthy and fulfilling relationships that will solidify skills and apply them to real world settings.
Your role as Senior Direct Care:
The Senior Direct Care assists program leadership with the oversight of their assigned shifts to meet the needs of the youth and their families. The behavioral health profiles/histories of the youth being referred to the congregate care settings are complex and require 24/7 supervision. Therefore, the Senior Direct Care assists in maintaining a structured and therapeutic environment that builds on the youth's strengths to build self-regulation skills; responds to the daily care and treatment needs of all youth in a manner that is respectful of and responsive to diversity across all human characteristics. The Senior Direct Care will assist in ensuring that the overall delivery of behavioral health treatment is in line with the youth's treatment plans and effective at all times. They will ensure that the maximum integration of CHD services are being carried out efficiently and effectively. The Senior Direct Care staff works within the Agency's team model, establishing open communication, support and accountability among program staff.
The Senior Direct Care staff functions in a lead capacity for a group of staff and must be able to schedule and control the daily shift responsibilities. This entails the Senior Direct Care Staff delegating shift duties to teammates for the shift and ensuring there is follow-through for tasks completion.

The primary role of the Direct Support Professional is to provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health and/or medical challenges in a Residential Programs setting.
* Provide instruction and reinforce personal care/hygiene tasks, community living, communication and socialization skills
* Implement person-centered activities and goals that create and maintain a supportive environment
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation including progress notes and reports that meet State and federal requirements
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of one (1) year experience working with adults with intellectually and/or developmentally disabilities in a health care setting
* Must be self-motivated with a positive, energetic, and professional demeanor
* Ability to maintain First Aid/CPR, and other certifications as required
* Must possess a valid driver's license to transport Individuals as needed
