Yes, job counselors can work from home. It is becoming more and more common for job counselors to work from home, whether that be part-time or in a hybrid work model. The work completed by job counselors is extremely easy to transition to a work-from-home environment.

Job counselors primarily work by meeting with clients and helping them work through their job search. If they can meet with their clients through the use of technology, whether that be over the phone or a video call, in theory, they can work anywhere. The exact location does not affect their ability to complete work.

Some job counselors may prefer to contact their clients and interact face-to-face. Because of this, many job counselors may still choose to work from an office where they can interact in person. It is often more a preference thing that works best, as both ways allow for a counselor to meet and counsel with their clients.
