DMD vs. DDS

By Zippia Team - Sep. 7, 2022

A DMD is a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry, while a DDS is a Doctor of Dental Surgery. While the titles are different, they represent the same position, have received the same training, and both degrees are the same. There is no difference between a DMD and a DDS, only a semantic one.
