Does Freedom Care drug test?
Yes, Freedom Care drug tests all potential hires. The company requires a drug screening for all potential hires and does ask current employees to submit to a drug test in certain circumstances.
Freedom Care asks candidates to take a urine drug test at an independent lab in order to be considered eligible for employment. The drug test used by a third-party lab is a standardized five-panel urine test. This can detect the five most commonly abused drugs and substances:
- Cannabis
- Cocaine
- Opiates
- Amphetamine
- PCP
The company also holds the right to use other drug tests on its employees, such as hair tests.

While the company does not perform random drug tests on current employees, they do ask employees to have a drug screening if they are involved in a workplace accident or injury.
