This question is about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu jobs.
No, IBJJF does not drug test. The International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) stopped drug testing their competitors starting June 1st, 2023. One major reason for the change is the fact that so many of their competitors were failing drug testing due to performance-enhancing drugs.
Rather than continue to fight it, IBJJF decided to just look the other way and not enforce any drug testing for any of their fighters starting the summer of 2023. In light of this change, IBJJF still takes a strict no-drug policy for its competitors.
The IBJJF is opposed to the practice of doping in sports on ethical and medical grounds and abides by the provisions of the World Anti-Doping Code ("Code") and the World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List ("Prohibited List").
According to their website:
While IBJJF is not a signatory to the Code, IBJJF recognizes the importance of clean competition and has taken a proactive stance in implementing an anti-doping program on behalf of clean athletes and the integrity of our sport.
The use, possession, and/or trafficking of prohibited substances, methods, or the encouragement or counseling to use prohibited substances, or methods, and/or taking measures to mask the use of prohibited substances, or methods by any participant in competitions over which the IBJJF has jurisdiction is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
