L3Harris prides itself on being a drug-free workplace as evidenced by its drug testing policies and its employee code of conduct.

A workplace free from substance abuse:

• The unauthorized use of controlled substances (drugs, prescriptions) or alcohol can create serious safety risks. The possession, sale, or use of unauthorized controlled substances, or being under the influence of such unauthorized controlled substances, on Company time, property, or at Company-sponsored events is prohibited. We prohibit the consumption of alcohol on Company premises or when conducting Company business, except when consumed in moderate amounts during approved business events. In any case, all employees are held accountable for ensuring that their performance and judgment are unimpaired by alcohol during working hours.

L3Harris is also a tobacco-free company and this includes the use of regular cigarettes, as well as chewing tobacco, electronic cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, vapes, or any other variations while in or around the business. Unless in the employee-designated smoking area, which only allows the use of vapes and not traditional cigarettes. They also offer their employees free access to smoking cessation programs.
