Does Lululemon drug test?
No, Lululemon does not request new hires or potential employees to take a drug test, nor does it request random drug screens of current employees. However, the Lululemon hiring process does require job candidates to submit to a background check.
While Advance Auto Parts does not require new hires to take a drug test in order to gain employment, the company does reserve the right to drug test current employees in the following scenarios:
- When employees are suspected of being intoxicated at work
- When employees are involved in a workplace accident
- When employees experience a work-related injury
In any of these instances, a failed drug test can result in disciplinary action, including termination, and possible criminal prosecution, if the employee has endangered the lives of their co-workers. It is unclear what type of drug test the company uses in these situations as it is a process that is completed by a third-party drug testing lab.
Lululemon is known to have a lax policy concerning cannabis use for its employees, however, this only applies to Lululemon stores that are located in states where the recreational use of the drug is legal. While this is the case, the company does not allow any employee to come to work under the influence of cannabis or any other substance.
