Does McKinsey drug test?

No, McKinsey does not drug test potential hires. However, there is a record of current employees needing to submit to drug tests at the company when a specific client requests the employee be drug tested. The company also does reserve the right to request a drug screen of current employees in any of the following scenarios:

They are suspected of being intoxicated at work
They are involved in a workplace accident
They experience a work-related injury

In any of these instances, a failed drug test can result in disciplinary action, including termination, and possible criminal prosecution, if the employee has endangered the lives of their co-workers. It is unclear what type of drug test the company uses in these situations as it is a process that is completed by a third-party drug testing lab.
