Yes, Olive Garden drug tests. However, they typically only require candidates applying for management positions to take a drug test as a condition of employment. If you are applying for a job as a hostess, waiter, busser, or bartender it is very unlikely that you will be asked to take a drug test during the hiring process.
During the hiring process, all potential employees are provided with a copy of Olive Garden's drug testing policies. Most past and present employees report not being asked to take a drug test except for a promotion. All employees may be asked to take a drug test if there is suspicion that the employee has come to work intoxicated or was involved in a workplace accident.
Olive Garden uses the standard 5-panel urine or saliva drug test to detect traces of cocaine, marijuana, PCP, opiates, and amphetamine. The test is conducted offsite by a third party testing company.
