Yes, Pacific Gas and Electric Company drug tests. Pacific Gas And Electric have a strict drug policy, especially for any DOT-regulated positions. This includes a pre-employment drug test for all new hires, as well as the ability to test their employees anytime they see fit.
DOT regulations actually require covered employees to be randomly drug and/or alcohol tested on an unannounced and random basis. Pacific Gas And Electric are also required to conduct a number of tests equal to at least the percentage set by the DOT of all covered employees each calendar year, spread reasonably over a 12-month period.

Once a potential hire passes the pre-employment drug screening, as part of the hiring process, they are asked to agree to the following according to Pacific Gas And Electric's Code of Conduct:
I won't report to work under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or cannabis.
I won't consume, possess, display, transport, or sell alcohol, recreational or medical cannabis, or illegal drugs while on duty, on PGE property, at the job site, in a PGE vehicle, or in a personal vehicle while on company business.
I will tell my leader if I am taking any medication that could affect my ability to work safely and efficiently.
I won't report to work under the influence of prescription or over-the-counter medications that could impair my ability to work safely and efficiently.
I will comply with PGE's alcohol and drug standards and all fitness-for-duty policies and regulations.
Pacific Gas and Electric Company is also a smoke-free workplace. All employees are not allowed to use tobacco or vaping products unless outside of the building in a designated smoking area.
