Does Ralphs drug test?

At Ralphs, they do sell drug testing kits and have the right, if they suspect an employee may be intoxicated, to request that the employee take an on-site drug test. The test they have on-site is a 12-panel drug test by Premier BioTech. The test looks for the presence of amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, buprenorphine, cocaine, methadone, methamphetamine, ecstasy (MDMA), opiates, oxycodone, phencyclidine (PCP), and marijuana.

At the end of the day, Ralphs abides by legal and professional standards to ensure a safe and comfortable space for its customers to shop. If an employee maintains a drug habit that disrupts their job performance and endangers others, Ralphs reserves the right to a drug test and terminate the employee upon failure to pass.

Ralphs is also a tobacco-free company and this includes the use of regular cigarettes, as well as chewing tobacco, electronic cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, vapes, or any other variations while inside the grocery store. There are designated areas for smoking for employees who are on break.
