If the testing vendor determines that there is a positive result for illicit drugs, the applicant will be removed from consideration for employment and rescind any conditional job offer.
To avoid potential problems, it is best to prepare for the drug test by stopping the use of illicit substances for several weeks before applying for a job.
If you have a legitimate need for prescribed medication, submit this information to The Cato's testing vendor. Adulterated or substituted specimens constitute a refusal to test.
After hiring is complete, The Cato reserves the right to re-drug test any employee at any time, especially if drug use is suspected.
