Does Wendy's drug test?
No, Wendy's does not usually drug test employees. Successfully passing a drug test is not a condition for employment at Wendy's, and they do not regularly or randomly drug test employees at the company's franchise locations.
However, every franchise location does promote a drug-free environment, so if an employee is involved in a work accident or incident or otherwise has given reasonable cause that they may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the company may choose to conduct a drug test.
Usually, if Wendy's does conduct a drug test, it will be a five-panel drug test. If the drug test comes back positive, Wendy's may use this as grounds for termination. This is especially true if the reason for the drug test is because an employee was involved in a work accident or other incident that harmed another person or company property.
