Does Westrock drug test?
Yes, Westrock drug tests all job candidates during the hiring process. While this is the case for all potential hires, the company rarely drug tests current employees randomly.
Westrock uses a urine test to screen candidates for drugs. This is performed at a third-party medical facility of the company's choosing.
The drug test used by a third-party lab is a standardized five-panel urine test. This can detect the five most commonly abused drugs and substances:
- Cannabis
- Cocaine
- Opiates
- Amphetamine
- PCP
Westrock also holds the right to use other drug tests on its employees, such as hair tests.
The only times the company requests a drug test for current employees are when:

In any of these instances, a failed drug test can result in disciplinary action, including termination, and possible criminal prosecution, if the employee has endangered the lives of their co-workers.
