Does Zoes Kitchen drug test?
No, Zoes Kitchen does not drug test. This includes pre-employment or random drug testing. This does not mean, however, that Zoes Kitchen doesn't have a drug policy. Zoes Kitchen has adopted a Drug-Free Workplace policy to provide a safe and productive working environment for its employees.
According to the Zoes Kitchen Code of Conduct section on Substance Abuse:
"You may not use, possess, distribute, sell or be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs; use over-the-counter or prescription drugs in a manner inconsistent with the legally prescribed amount and accompanying instructions; or improperly or illegally use any inhalant or perception-altering substance in the performance of work for the Company or while on the premises of the Company, save that the consumption of alcohol is allowed at company-sponsored events."
Tobacco and vaping products can only be used during scheduled breaks at least 60 ft away from the store. All employees must wash their hands when returning from a smoke break.
